- End-of-Life System: The old BizTalk system, which previously handled 150 integrations, was reaching its end of life, so a modern and reliable replacement was needed.
- HR Instability: Issues with the current system led to frequent disruptions and unreliable HR operations.
- Security & Maturity Gaps: They needed a more robust, mature system that ensured better reliability, operational resilience, and compliance with modern security standards.

- Diverse Integration Patterns: We implemented various integration approaches (file-based, streaming, API, and Change Data Capture) to match the needs of each data flow scenario, optimizing stability and security. The integration solution covered 150 integrations in total, connecting around 27 systems across 13 Business Domains.
- High Stability through a Modular Architecture:
- A decoupled, event-driven architecture on GCP minimizes interdependencies and ensures stable integrations, even during peak times.
- Apigee manages APIs securely, with encrypted communication.
- Cloud Composer orchestrates the flow of data, while Cloud Run and Data Fusion handle data processing and transformations.
- Enhanced Security:
- The Principle of Least Privilege limits access to only what's necessary, reducing vulnerabilities.
- Secret Management ensures sensitive data is securely stored and centrally managed, minimizing security risks.
- Scalability for Growth:
- Auto-scaling infrastructure guarantees seamless handling of increased demand without manual intervention.
- A well-organized GCP project structure facilitates the clear management of data: from Landing (ingestion) to Loader (processing) and Broadcast (final destination).
- Data Inspector for Integrity and Control:
- We built the Data Inspector tool on Cloud Run to ensure data completeness and integrity, allowing stakeholders to easily reprocess data if needed.
