What will you do as a Video & Podcast Production Intern? 

As our Video & Podcast Production Intern, you’ll bring our stories to life. You’ll manage the full production cycle, from planning and filming to editing and publishing. Whether it’s setting up the camera, directing a guest, or creating teaser clips for social media, you’ll be at the heart of our content creation process.

You’ll work closely with our marketing team to make sure every episode looks and sounds professional, aligns with our brand, and reaches the right audience. There’s plenty of room for creativity and experimentation; we’re open to new ideas and formats.

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Plan and organise podcast recordings, from booking the podcast room to coordinating guests.
• Direct on location, ensuring the right atmosphere, setup, and flow.
• Film and record the sessions yourself.
• Edit and produce high-quality video and audio content, including short teasers for social media.
• Publish episodes on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, Vimeo, Linkedin and our website, ensuring that all titles, descriptions, and visuals are on-brand.
• Contribute strategically by helping select key moments to highlight, suggest improvements, and explore new storytelling angles.
• Collaborate with the marketing manager and internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and smooth workflows.
• Analysing the success of podcasts and videos and adapting new episodes based on factual engagement information.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Technical knowledge of the video and podcast production process and the tools.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, you enjoy structure, take initiative, and deliver on time.
• A strong sense for storytelling and the ability to turn ideas into engaging content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A self-motivated mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with social media and digital publishing best practices.

Requirements

• Working English language skills are a must
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university and undertaking this internship as a mandatory component of their degree program.
• Living in the EU/EEA or Switzerland
  • or already in possession of a valid residence permit authorising work in the Netherlands
  • or part of the Erasmus program
  • or a Dutch study permit AND a learning agreement signed by the education, the employer and the student.
