Have you ever heard about a gift voucher with a twist?

As Christmas is a time of giving, we treated our employees with a gift voucher to give a huge thanks for all their hard work and dedication during the year 2021.

We however gave them the option to use the whole or a part of the voucher to support a good cause instead: planting trees.

As you know, trees offer many environmental benefits. Trees give off oxygen that we need to breathe and improve our air quality by filtering harmful dust and pollutants such as ozone, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide from the air we breathe. Trees reduce the amount of stormwater runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of flooding. Many species of wildlife depend on trees for their habitat. Trees provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals.

We believe that planting trees is good for the planet and for the wildlife and forests in the Netherlands. 

We have raised 2600,- Euro along with the tree foundation and will plant the trees ourselves in the spring where we will have our first social activity of 2022 in our beautiful forests!
