Project: Crystallizing, Implementing and Optimizing CRM Loyalty Program One of the largest Dutch retailers wanted to set up a Loyalty Program for their card holders to increase their revenue. They asked Crystalloids to help crystallize, implement and optimize this loyalty program. We set up an infrastructure to support the Loyalty Program on which data could be exchanged and contact history could be stored. We produced all sorts of analysis, like customer value analysis, KPI reports and campaign evaluations. Furthermore we created targeted selections for the campaigns of the Loyalty Program. We managed the Loyalty Program and were responsible for the planning of the program. All this was done with PASW Modeler (formerly SPSS Clementine). After the successful implementation of the loyalty program the customer is able to gain more knowledge on the card holders and their behavior. Project: Implementing Campaign Management solution The Dutch office of one of the largest online retailers in the world had chosen SAS Campaign Management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their marketing activities. Crystalloids was asked by our Partner SAS to help implementing the Campaign Management solution. We defined the Campaign Management requirements for the Customer, designed, implemented, tested and rolled out the solution including the new processes and procedures. Furthermore we trained the employees in using the Campaign Management solution to its full usage. After the successful completion of the project the customer was able to execute its marketing activities much faster than before, giving them the necessary time to start improving effectiveness of their marketing activities.

Project: Crystallizing Campaign Optimization solution A large Dutch insurance faced fierce competition that led to less effective marketing campaigns. They realized that for having more effective campaigns, they needed to optimize the allocation of their marketing budget over the different campaigns. They asked Crystalloids to help them determine the best available solution for Campaign Optimization to suit their needs. We defined the Campaign Optimization requirements for the customers, selected and evaluated different campaign optimization solutions. Further we built and demonstrated a showcase and presented the final report to the customer. The showcase demonstrated that the solution of SAS Campaign Management fulfilled the customer needs best. The customer was very satisfied with this solution and confident that it would lead to more effective marketing campaigns.

Project: Implementing Brand Integration The Dutch office of one of the largest leisure companies in the Netherlands took over another leisure brand. They asked us to help integrate this new brand and their data into their marketing processes and marketing database so the existing analysis, reporting and campaign management environment could be used for this new brand and their data. For this integration we set up a project in which we did a data audit. We decided which data would need to be integrated, we set up requirements for this integration so the data would fit in the existing marketing database so it could be used by the existing analysis, reporting and campaign management environment. We set up a test plan and evaluated the test results. Furthermore, we made a campaign year plan for the new brand campaigns, specified the segments, selections and exclusions. After the successful integration of the new brand into the existing marketing database and the existing analysis, reporting and campaign management environment, the customer was able to do analysis, reporting and campaign management for the new brand and the new brand was completely integrated in the existing campaign operation and –strategy.

Project: Implementing Data Mining and Campaign Optimization solution A leading Dutch media group and publisher faced a decline in their subscription base. The customer asked Crystalloids to optimize the use of their marketing budget and facilitate new loyalty and churn prevention programs. Crystalloids implemented SPSS Model Builder and SPSS Event Builder within the customer’s current campaign management environment. We set up and implemented the solution and optimized their business processes. After the successful integration of the solution the customer was able to reduce the implementation time of new marketing campaigns, optimize the use of marketing budget considering different channels and to use models to determine the customers to be selected for campaigns. The customer reduced the risk of manual selections, increased the insight of model effectiveness as well as the effectiveness of its marketing programs.

Project: Implementing Campaign Optimization solution A leading telecommunication company based in Germany experienced problems with the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns. Our partner SPSS and the customer asked Crystalloids to implement SPSS Event Builder, specifically to optimize their campaign selection processes. Crystalloids optimized the campaign selection processes in multiple phases. We first crystallized the current selection procedure, response collection and reporting processes. Next we implemented the SPSS Event Builder solution. With this solution we could help the customer to optimize their processes for campaign selection. As a result, the customer was able to reduce the implementing time for selections drastically and the insight in campaign effectiveness was increased.
